Black & White Cat

err.. sorry it's bookmark again. and.. and.. next entry is scheduled to be bookmark also. hee~ :P hope you don't get bored. huhu~

anyway, anyone loves cat? ^^ i have one at home. we call him "gemuk". or in english means "fat". oh yes, he's getting fatter everyday! :D

On My Convocation

immediately, a day after our Quilling Get-Together, is my Convocation ceremony. i arrive home almost midnight and what comes to my mind is only, i have to make some quilling things for friends. since i started quilling, they are the the most important people that keep me strong and help me in many ways. they also always ask for simple quilling items, but i always refuse to do it. lazy me. heheh :P most importantly, they keep reminding me of my dream, which is having my own papercraft shop so that i will never gave up whenever life gets harder. really, even at this stage, the journey is still looooong way to go! huhu

so here they are; when everybody have fall asleep, i sacrifice my eyes and hands to make a simple bookmark of white-orange scroll. usually it's red right? but since our faculty is determined by orange colour of hood, so i decided to make it the same theme.

can you see my orange hood there! :D

if you notice, lately my bookmark has some modification in ribbon's hole. i try using eyelet, and it turns out really smart, ain't they? ;)

i sleep at 4:00am in the morning. and wake up at 6:00am. so sleepy. thank God i didn't fall at stage! :P

3:00 a.m in the Morning

almost 3 o'clock in the morning, my eyes still wide awake o_O quilling and watching korean drama at once :P while my novel sit still beside me {untouched} hohoh! ;)

making simple and fast bookmark for myself :) yup, it's paper clip actually :P

okay². i must force my eyes to sleep now. or else i'll be late to catch the train. i'm going to meet my long lost sister tomorrow! *happy!* :D

i'm making this old version bookmark again. can't resist that this kind of bookmark has its's own sentiment when it's slipped inside the book ;)

still remember the doodles i've made and wednesday buddies? actually i made them for these. the bookmarks also has been personalized with the names, ordered by a very kind brother of them. enjoy the pics ;)

Been Hypnotized!

happy monday everyone! ;) this weekend i've been busy making quilling stuff especially for my siblings. poor them; they've been asking for many times to have my handmade quilling craft. but each time they ask, i refuse to make it due to a lot of order to be done. ngaa~ it's just an excuse, actually. lazy me! >.<'

this time around, i try to squeezed my last weekend before going back to work to make as simple quilling stuff as i can. but still have some funky, colorful essence suitable for teenagers. it's a hypnotized-lolipop's bookmark! ahaha :D so big and kind of show off-bookmark :P ah, you know teenage's soul right? ;P i call it hypnotized because when i coil them, i felt my eyes spinning with colours. and i have to make 10 of them! oh, thank God it's not 100. hoho! :P

making big tight coils is challenging especially to ensure we roll it tightly and carefully not to loose them. or else, you have to start from the beginning {argh!!} therefore, to ensure the coil stick in it's place, you can use PVC glue {as below} to stick the coil together.

firstly, apply some PVC glue by using paint brush. and then spread the glue by using your finger. wait for less than a minute for them to dry. and there you go; one hypnotized lolipop, done! ;)

Back To Quilling Mode!

hello everyone! oh i really miss this blog :') too many things to be shared here--but i'll make it simple ya? ;)


first of all, my Hari Raya celebration was really great! :D there's a lot of new experiences this year ^^, and as i hope i can spend more days to enjoy this 'eid, time flies really fast; ain't they? now i have to get back to work and finish up all the orders :-S {oh, thank God my dearest customers are all really patient :') -- ♥ u all!}

i've designed my own 'sampul raya' {money envelope}

-which is one of our tradition-for 'eid to be given as a gift for kids ^^

to be honest, new mood after 'eid is hard. i miss quilling so much, but ideas wont come out! >.< luckily, i've ordered  a new paper shredder before 'eid. and when it arrive few days ago, the mood has come and i'm totally excited! ;)

to be more inspired, i've shred all 27 different colours and put them i my shoe boxes. now it look like a colourful plants! ^^ and it will soon grow as colourful-ideas-flowers ;)

and to refresh back my quilling skills, i've started by decorating this tiny wooden stick with quilling strips and ribbon. i plan to make it as one of the items in doorgift for my sister's wedding this coming January ^^ isn't it a good idea?

oh i think that's all for now. i have to open back my organizer and finish all the orders one by one. will share them with all of you soon. until then, have a happy moment everyone! ♥

Floral Bookmarks

New design again! ;) and i really enjoy making them ^^ inspired by some people who did quilling online {i can't remember where i found them ='(}. anyhow, at the same time a friend of mine wants to order 5 same design of bookmarks. so i told her i plan to do this type of bookmark. thank God she likes the idea! so, here's the first try.

i make another four for the same theme and design but in different colour. suitable to be shared with her four best friends! ^__^ enjoy these lovely simple bookmarks posing in various style! *wink!*

oh by the way, see the last picture. i'm crazily making origami box lately and thinking about to make more and combine them with quilling art. see the quilling daisy on top of the lid? hmm, perhaps i could sell them if anybody interested =)

Bookmarks: New Simple Design

hello everyone, i just can't sleep well last night. so i woke up really early today. since i still have no mood and enough energy to design special orders, i just play with papers and came up with this new style of bookmark.

i made two types; pink and baby blue. so, what do you think about the style? i think i like it :) will figure out more style after this *wink!* ;)

Fancy Bookmarks

these fancy bookmarks was the first order that i got once i reactive this blog. 50 pieces to be done in various designs. and here they are!

oh, not to forgot. she wants to add another two bookmarks and i am totally forgot until this morning! oh my god. so quickly grab whatever i have on my craft desk, and reuse the third design above in different color. then vroom vroomm, delivery time! glad she love all of them =) wiwiwi!! ^__^

Rainbow In My Heart ♥

two days ago. my life is as pale as this card. small trouble becomes big. big dream becomes unseen. fortunately, i am surrounded by a circle of true true friend. they always lift me high in whatever condition i am :) i am glad, i am thankful! =')

i also glad for having all of you, who love my arts and appreciate them as much as i do. like this time, this customer came at the right time. she requested for a card where there is a big heart shape consist of small-small colourful heart inside it. oh, long time ago, i really want to make this kind of card. but i'm afraid i can't arrange them :-S at last, see the outcome! yeah! i did it! wiiii!! ^__^

and my feelings become colourful again! ^__^ oh not to forgot, she also requested for a bookmark with the same theme. so here it is. 7 rainbow-colours of love :)

Flying Car

have you ever see car floating at the sky? hahah. me neither. i don't know why my imagination came into this. i made this bookmark for my bestfriend. he ordered a card for his girlfriend when he saw all my arts in picassa album. and since he likes it so much, i promise to make him one. so here it is:

this idea, of course came spontaneously. then, my sister told me: "why don't you add some balloons instead of birds flying all around the sky?" wow! great idea! have you watched "Up"? it reminds me so much to that story ^__^

oh, there's one thing i want to share. notice the blue color inside the cloud? it happens accidentally, actually ;) i drew the cloud on tracing paper and paste it on blue card. suddenly i felt the blue card made all the things became dull. no excitement. so i tear the cloud. unfortunately, its too late :'( the blue color already sticked on the cloud. BUT..... FOR-TU-NATE-LY, it makes the cloud became more real! hahah! :D i'm so excited and i like it so much! so, in case you want to make a cloud looks real. paste the tracing paper on a desired color that you want. for example, pink for happy day or dark grey for cloudy day :)

well, it makes the bookmark become more special for me. and i'm glad he likes it :') even though the theme is actually suitable for kids. hehe.. {sorry friend, my world full with kids right now :P}
